Mission Trip of H.T.M.
High Tech Ministry mission trip to Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda from Oct
1 - Oct 30, 2002
I visited 12+ of the ministries I had previously done websites for
and met more than 40 new ministries. I covered many miles and
visited 3 countries. This mission trip and ministry started with one
request for a free website to an unknown church in Africa 3 years
ago.
As I fly back to London, then on to USA, I reflect on the past
month. I am in awe of all the things that happened - almost
effortlessly. I have never had a time where I felt like a tool for
the Lord as in this month. So much of the ministry that happened was
not planned by us. Without a doubt, it was more effective than I
could have imagined. Interestingly, I feel like the High Tech
Ministry has just laid a foundation for an explosion of evangelism
from Uganda ( even though I've been ministering to them for 3 years
now ).
In one fell swoop a Christian army in East Africa is being
mobilized. The reach is simply humbling. Through HTM there is a
solid core of Christian leaders gathered. I feel like a small role
player in that I simply walked in the door of each ministry and
watched God work.
The new websites and additions to websites span more then 30 brand
new websites and almost 300 churches in multiple districts
throughout Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and the Congo. Notably, one
website is for a ministry under the direction of the President of
Uganda's wife which reaches out to the Karamajong people in the
Northern part of Uganda. These peoples are still largely naked,
warring, tribes with much pagan practices.
My role was to show up, be comfortable in uncomfortable situations,
ask, listen, obey, love. I was asked to do many things I had never
done before. I did them with joy.

ministry site at

on how you can help in practical ways. I will be answering the
question of "why should we help Africans instead of the needy in our
own back yard?".
