You may be a part of this mission, we'd love to have you!
Q. Who can be a missionary?
A. Anyone!
Any skill or vocational knowledge you have will benefit the needy and will be the vehicle to bring them to salvation. Additional specific ideas here >
For example; construction, dentists, medical workers, optometrists, agriculturists, well diggers, entrepreneurs to help them set up businesses and bible schools, and more.
School teachers who can stay for 1 month to 1 year are the single greatest need and ministry.
We even have short term missionary training classes in the world renowned Bishop, CA. - so no excuses! :)

Mission trips detail
" And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." - Matthew 24:14
Can't go? Host an incoming African Pastor...
More information and application to be a host
Advance Preparation:
We already have many personal contacts in Africa. They will provide room and board for each of us in their homes. They will also be prepared with ministry tasks for us to perform. Our job is to prepare our hearts in advance; to be open to being used by the Holy Spirit.
You should also be prepared with your own personal testimony when you arrive there.
The Benefit
It would be hard for you to imagine the benefit and impact this ministry ( Hightechministry.org ) has had on the numerous churches and ministries via the donation of a website and monthly hosting expenses; however, you will hear it first hand from the Africans.
Their Physical Needs:
They are many. However, what is needed most are your prayers. Whatever else the Lord leads you to provide will be very much appreciated. The greatest benefit we have to them is by being first hand witnesses and then to tell their story when we return. You can do that easily right?!
Medical Clinic: Health education
HIV/AIDS control and counseling classes
Medicines especially AIDs drugs as well as medical equipment (expired meds may be ok)
Teaching and assistance with child immunization
Nutritional items
Church Planting:
You can actually help plant a church! The typical cost is less than 00! How can you not want to help at these low investment levels? These churches will rapidly reach membership levels of 200 as they are started in rural jungle areas.
Vocational Centers:
Tailoring schools help bring many out of poverty by providing a skill and a self started business.
Computer training help bring many out of poverty by providing a skill and either a self started business or a job.
Construction schools help bring many out of poverty by providing a skill and a self started business.
Bible Colleges:
We are preparing to plant bible colleges in many countries. There is a great need for this and they do not have the money to attend school.
How YOU can participate in this mission:

Arrange for donations of specific physical items from stores and thrift shops

Donate funds towards their conference needs.
Contribute funds towards purchase of computers
Donate used laptops

Donate luggage to transport items. Luggage will be left there.
Donate tracts & Christian Literature that can be left for them.
My Testimony:
1 Peter 4 - 2As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. 3For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do--living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.
Background:
Mark S Disbrow started with the High Tech Ministry (HTM) in 1997 while at Lakeside Church in Folsom. Part of the ministry was helping plant churches and ministries online. During the course of the next couple years 4 ministries contacted him from Uganda, Africa with requests to make a website for their church. Each ministry said they prayed, got online, found HTM, asked for help, HTM responded. Interestingly, none of the first 4 churches knew each other. It's a God thing. More requests followed from there until almost a dozen churches have been given websites. It is interesting to note that so many requests came from this one remote section of the world when Mark has had no contacts with anyone there prior to these events. January of 2002, Mark felt the call of the Lord to visit and minister to them.
How we'll measure the fruit of the Mission Trip
We think it's important to measure the fruit of our ministry ( and our mission trip ) by the fruit of the ministries we help. The measurements we consider most important are:
Websites provided - these are the basic tools we provide ministries to support their efforts. Last years trip generated 60 new websites
People involved in, or introduced to, and / or supporting the ministry - gathering people to the African ministries is one of the strongest benefits of a website.
Ministry provided through their website to others - websites allow ministries to reach out past their own walls and locale. Websites can help YOUR ministry implement The Great Commission.
New churches established - websites are crucial to new church plants. The physical church needs to be planted online since so much of the population resides on the internet.
Medical Clinic - individuals served by the medical clinic and the number of salvation decisions resulting from this.
Crusade - the number of salvation decisions resulting from this and directed to local churches.
People trained to be self sufficient in providing income through a newly learned vocational skill.
